...is a scholar-practitioner of conflict resolution, specializing in restorative justice and applications of mediation in the criminal justice system. She earned her Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University in 2007. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Towson University? Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice Department. She has been mediating as a community mediator since 2002. She is also active in Maryland? restorative justice community, working on the planning committee for the most recent statewide conference. |

...is the Mediation Program Coordinator for the Baltimore City Circuit Court. She is also an attorney and mediator with specialized training in parenting and divorce mediation, and mediating probate cases. Ronna is a member of the Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence (MPME) and a Council member of the MSBA ADR Section. |

...has taught at Towson University for the past 40 years. Her areas of interest include interpersonal violence, intimate partner violence, prisons and women's issues. Marion has taught conflict resolution skills to inmates as a volunteer with the Division of Corrections. She is most interested in developing re-entry mediation in Baltimore County. |

Mala Malhotra-Ortiz, Board Member |

...is the Deputy Director of the civil mediation program at the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. At the Court of Special Appeals, Ms. Malhotra-Ortiz mediates a variety of civil appeals, including domestic cases, contracts, medical malpractice matters, personal injury suits, and multiple-party zoning and environmental, land-use issues. Previously, she was a professor in the Family Mediation Clinic at the University of Baltimore School of Law, and she owns and operates a family law practice in Baltimore County. Her experience reflects a wide range of conflict management/resolution, utilizing litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods. She has practiced mediation, negotiations, community facilitations and appellate litigation with a number of federal agencies, including the US Peace Corps, US Dept of Justice, US Dept of Interior, US Dept of Transportation and the US EPA. Mala is a member of the United States Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution's mediation roster and a recognized member of the Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence (MPME). Mala is fluent in Guarani, Hindi and Spanish. |

...is a Program Analyst, Executive Assistant for Financial Management Service, (FMS), Department of the Treasury and has been with the Dept of Treasury for over nineteen years. Twelve of those years were spent in Human Resources, where she worked primarily in Labor & Employee Relations as Executive Assistant to the Director for Human Resources. Eva has been a mediator since 1999 under the Treasury? Shared Neutrals Program, primarily involved in mediating workplace disputes within the federal work place. She received a B.S. in Business Administration from Morgan State University, in Baltimore, MD. Eva has also completed work on her Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) certificate with the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution in association with Salisbury State University and has mediated contract and community disputes. |

...is Director of Mediation and Educational Programs for the North Baltimore Center, an affiliate of Sheppard Pratt. She is a mediator, Circle facilitator, educator, trainer and administrator with specialized advanced training and a focus on communities, schools and families. Claire has more than 20 years of experience in the ADR field and 35 years of experience in education. She is a member of the Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence (MPME) and various other professional associations in the field of education and ADR. |

...has served as a pastor in the United Methodist Church for 44 years. After retirement in 2008, he continued as a part-time pastor of two small churches in northern Baltimore County. He was one of the pastors who founded the "Interfaith Eviction Relief Fund" in Prince George's County, Maryland, which provided temporary housing and financial counseling primarily for people being evicted from their homes in Washington, D.C. He has also served on the Board of a pastoral counseling service in the Washington, D.C. area. He has had experience as a Social Worker in Baltimore, Maryland. |

...discovered his passion for peace work beginning in 1992 as a facilitator for the Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) through the Western New York Peace Center. Their use of the circle process and its healing-equalizing potential helped him develop his facilitation skills, as well as his connection to others. Since then he has worked for nonprofit organizations in New York using his skills to promote violence prevention and intervention, peer mediation, and diversity training. Currently he is the Outreach Coordinator for the Community Conferencing Center in Baltimore City. As a consultant with Dynamic Connections, David facilities team building, conflict resolution, diversity and drumming circles for organizations and events. |

Jennifer Robinson, Director, Community Mediation Program

Jennifer coordinates the day-to day operations of the CRC’s Community Mediation program. Jennifer received her master’s degree in Conflict Negotiation and Management from the University of Baltimore and has attended the Summer Peace Institute at Eastern Mennonite University. She has taken over 250 hours of mediation training, including the Transformative Model and Community Mediation Maryland model.
Jennifer has mediated for the Maryland Commission on Human Relations and has also provided parenting plan mediation services for the Circuit Court of Baltimore City. She is a member of the MPME and completed the MPME mentoring program. Previously, Jennifer was a coordinator for the Community Conferencing Program in Baltimore County, providing outreach, program development, and delivery of Community Conferencing services. |
